Podcast Recording
Podcasts are a tried and true medium for delivering the things you want to talk about to the people that want to hear them. We provide a range of services starting at dry hire and moving up to fully produced episodes ready to distribute when they reach your inbox.
We run a dedicated studio environment with a separate live and control room and are equipped with industry standard audio equipment. We have a strong background in recording and producing audio content for tv, radio and online applications.
Tier 1 - Dry Hire
Starting at £60/hr
Dry Hire is the perfect choice for those with some experience in the studio environment and with the equipment and want to take responsibility for their own recordings. The room is provided with equipment ready to go and your first session includes a short introduction to help make sure it runs as smoothly as possible.
Raw session files are ready to be taken away at the end of the recording and it’s important to remember to bring a hard drive for these! Though if you’d prefer we can handle these and provide you with a download link afterwards for an additional fee.
Should you need it at any point, a technician will always be on site and ready to assist.

Tier 2 - Recorded
Starting at £98/hr
Recorded sessions are a step-up from Dry Hire and include a qualified studio technician for the duration who will handle the equipment and recording process from within the adjacent control room.
As a result equipment in the room is kept as unobtrusive as possible. If you want, you don’t even need to wear headphones! We make sure its all taken care of and that your recordings are the best they can be while you focus on your show.
Recorded sessions all include basic file cleanup as part of a process referred to as ‘top and tailing’. This covers things like low level noise removal for audio and corrective colour adjustments for video.
We then provide you with uncut session audio and video files ready to be edited further. This is a great option if you already have your own systems in place to deal with content delivery and/or do your own editing!

Starting at £160/hr
Produced sessions are on par with the kind of production you can expect at a radio station. Start to finish the experience is designed to be as simple for you as arriving, delivering your show, and then receiving the finalised files ready to release in your inbox.
Produced sessions are run similarly to Recorded sessions, the main difference being that we will also fully edit and produce each episode according to your spec. This includes delivery of the full audio and video of the episode with multi-cam editing delivered together, along with up to 4 social media clips taken from the episode ready to upload to instagram/tiktok/youtube shorts.
Details of these sessions covering things like branding and theme music are something we’d also seek to discuss and have in place before delivering you the final product, and so before booking a produced session please get in touch!

Yes we can! Though generally for podcasts we strongly recommend recording in 1080p to keep size overheads low. That doesn’t mean its never important, If its something you’d like to have in your session we can provide it for a small additional fee. Please also be aware that for Dry Hire and Recorded sessions the files you take away at the end will also be much larger.

Our standard setup includes 3 cameras, but given enough notice we can include more to accomodate your needs!

Most podcast episodes are between 40-80 minutes as recorded and can lose a few minutes to editing. Though some podcasts are purposely far shorter or longer, from a few minutes up to multiple hours.
We recommend strongly that you account for settle down and wrap up time in your sessions, especially if you are running a dry hire recording. This means that an hour session can accommodate roughly 40 minutes of recorded time comfortably without rushing yourself in and out of the studio.

Yes! the time is yours to divide up as you wish and this can take many forms. As an example, a day session (8 hours) can safely cover 4-6 episodes of a podcast assuming each episode is 40-60 minutes. It’s important on long recording days to take breaks between episodes!
Please be aware that when booking sessions like this we will always give you our best estimates for how much you can get done in your specific case based on our experience and so these numbers might be different for you.

Our live room can comfortably fit 4 people, and at a cozy squeeze can fit 6.

Yes! with a little set-up we can make that happen. We have numerous screens available should you want to place them in the room with you too. Let us know in advance if this is something you’d like to have in your session.

Yes! all of our services can be delivered without video (excluding the social clips). Audio only sessions are also subject to a 15% discount.

Currently we don’t openly offer distribution services, but in a select few cases we currently do handle network responsibilities. This is entirely discretionary on our part and includes the signing of legal documents like distribution licensing agreements.
